I am using the Fuji GFX 50s. From all reviews there seems to be little difference in the noise on shots taken up to 400 ISO.
With this in mind I am thinking that if I shoot landscapes at a base ISO of 100 and set the camera to ISO bracket 1 stop either side of that in theory this should take care of not blowing the highlights and being able to retain the shadows in most cases. This would negate the need for a grad ND.
I appreciate that I can achieve this by normal bracketing but by doing it this way I get a spread of exposure values in one shot which means that moving subject (IE waves and clouds) are the same in all 3 shots.
This would make exposure blending simple in PP.
This seems to be a simple and effective solution to exposure blending. Am I missing something?
