As above really
Had a phone call of one of there sales team on Wednesday last week,
He stated that he had spoke to me a couple of days earlier and this was a follow up call, to check the finer details.
I hadn't spoke to them before this was the first bit of contact I have had from ISM (http://www.internetsearchmarketing.co.uk), When I made them aware of this they just seemed to ignore that fact and still push for the sale.
I asked what it was they were actually selling, and it is a "microsite" within another site, The site is www.yorkshireweddingservices.com and they are offering to put my logo and a link up, in the photographer section.
Again I stated I did not want this service as I hadn't asked for it, and if I did want this service then I would contact them in due course, but at the moment it is a 100% no.
When I got home on Wednesday, The rep I had been speaking to had sent me a email, (I stupidly gave it to them) stating that I had accepted to have my site put on this website, and a invoice for £160 + V.A.T
I emailed back again stating I did not wish to go ahead with this, as a result of this my inbox has been unindated with emails from this chap, and my phone has been ringing non stop, they just do not give up.
Has anyone else had any simiular experiances?
Has anyone dealt with this company?
It seems like a big of a scam to me, might just be being a little paranoid though.
What made me think twice is that I haven't posted any of my wedding photographs on the net. So how can a company be approching me as a wedding tog, just seems suspect to me.
