in a couple of weeks I'll be going to Mull for a few days. As its my first time on the island, I was wondering if anyone had any experience of things to do and see (and photograph ;) ) that they'd recommend?
Thanks in advance :)

Salen. There are (or were the last time I was on Mull) three old fishing boats drawn up on the beach which are slowly mouldering away.

Cool, I've been looking to try and get some shots of old boats.
Thanks for that.

I went a couple of years ago, left the DSLR at home (accidently) and just had an X100 with me.

Did spend one day with Sam at http://www.islandscapephotography.co.uk/ on one of her photography tours, which was good as we visited several locations.

Trip out to Staffa was worth it, as was Iona. But just remeber if you are driving everything trip takes a long time as virtually every road is single track.

Sadly I think the white-tailed sea eagle boat trips don't start until later in the year, but it would be worth double-checking just in case.

your images are great.
Thanks for sharing.

There are so many wonderful little nooks and bits of coastline, burns and the like to explore - it's a magnificent place. The boats are indeed good (if somewhat cliched) but there is something interesting pretty much everywhere - it's a small island which packs a load in. I'd be over there again in a heartbeat if work was a bit quieter!

Sorry, it's not very specific I know, but just get out and walk, drive (or cycle) around with your camera as much as you can.
