Island of May......anyone been?

Have been twice last time in June this year. You get puffin( who will be leaving fairly shortly) and various sea birds along with seals. It was worthwhile especially on a reasonable day as the trip can be a bit rough. There is a new build shelter which provides basic facilities and a bit of background to the area. There are also Artic terns around the main path which can provide a bit of light relief as they are pretty protective of their nesting sites. Good for photos and I would recommend it, mindful of the weather. Take good walking boots, a decent jacket- and waterproofs might come in handy. It's a good day with a decent level of exercise.
