Is You Tube having issues?

I've just tried a few totally unrelated clips and I'm unable to un-mute the sound.
Have I missed something or is you tube having issues ?

It was recently announce on the village Facebook group that our little corner of paradise has been earmarked for upgrade to broad band service this October, but as BT has been promising improvements next year for the last 5 years I'll believe it when I actually see it for now though I'll stuck with my 2mps service...sub .5mps up makes for great fun when uploading a few full size photo files to say Flickr or even worse the printers
