Is this Home Theater any good to buy?

eBuyer is selling this Xenta Home Theater and was wondering if it is a good buy?

Any advice TPle?

It's going to sound like an £80 5.1 system. If you want a cheap and cheerful 5.1 system and have nothing else now, it will make some sound.

I would be very surprised if it delivered good quality sound though....

Looking at the pictures there is no digital input so connecting to say a DVD players surround sound output is not possible unless it has analogue outputs - which most do not have.

15W surround speakers are not going to put out a lot of sound either.

My Hi Fi system dates from the nineties and although it has 5.1 it doesn't connect to the modern stuff like BluRay 3D through optical or HDMI

I have just bought an Onkyo TXSR 309 A/V receiver with a set of Tannoy SFX 5.1 speakers. Came to approx £350.00.
