What's the biggest print you've ever produced. I once produced a 6' x 4' colour print.

13ft x 4ft for Homebase, it wasn't all photograph mind..

I did the photos and design for a 15ft sail banner for a client that was to be used at outdoor shows and expos once.

About the biggest I can lay claim to is a 2.5 m wide panorama on canvas.

Mine was a pure photograph. I used to do a lot of work in golf and did all the work for Notts Golf Club at Hollinwell. I did a shoot for a golf magazine of all the holes at Hollinwell and most of the shots were published.

One of the members was having his kitchen refurbished and asked for a photo that had been published of the ninth hole. He wanted to do away with his kitchen window and have the photo there instead. The original was on 35mm Ektachrome 64. It was made into a 10/8 interneg and the print made from that. The kitchen window was a complete success.

Did you get a shot of your final print in situ? Now that would be a neat one for the portfolio, actually showing the final product in use. :)

Unfortunately, John, it never occurred to me at the time.:'(

I'm sure there's a post somewhere on here of someone's photo on the side of a several story building....

EDIT: Although I guess that's not a print.

I remember being appalled at the cost of the print but the customer never batted an eyelid. Mind you, he had to be rich to be a member at Hollinwell.
