Hi guys,

I have been offered a Nikon D200 with 28-80mm nikon lens for 500 quid. It has 14000 actuations on it.

What do you think?? should I buy it?? or if the price is not right, what should I offer him

please help as I dont wnat to loose this if its a good buy
 
i bought my d200 about 3 months ago in mint condition with 3000 actuations for £499.

so i guess its not too bad a price with a lens thrown in.
 
£400 - £425 for the body, £30 for the lens, which is crap tbh.

Just buy the body, the lens is a POS.

as im a newb, can anyone recommend a decent lens to fit this camera. not looking for long range shots. looking to taking pics of my new born twins and my spaniels working in the field:)
 
Get the Nikkor 18-70 DX, and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 for starters.

You should be able to get the 50mm used for £50, and the 18-70 DX used for about £100.
