I have just bought Scott Kelby's book (yesterday) and it look ok. I haven't a clue about PP so this is really interesting and practical.

Hope this helps.

Chris :)

Kelby's seems to be the book of choice from the reviews I've seen although some are not keen on his 'humour' if you can get over that then there is a lot you can get from it man.

Scott Kelby drives me nuts, definitley no place on my bookshelf for him. The most useful book I have found is the Photoshop CS2 Wow Book by Peachpit Press, but there is now an update for Version CS3. An excellent book, very nicely presented, with good explanations and good quality colour examples.

Thanks for the replies! will take a look at the ones suggested and take my pic from them! Thanks!

You Tube has a great selection of videos..

Type in Photoshop Tutorial and you will inundated with tricks & tips

Been thinking of getting myself a laptop with a sole purpose of photography use only. My PC isn't the fastest on the planet, and it doesn't like running programs such as CS3 etc, it really struggles after a few minutes of them being open.

Photoshop really is a doddle, once you've learnt some of the basic stuff, it just seems complicated from the off.

Martin Evening's book is the one I'd suggest - its very informative . ..

Links to books suggested very much appreciated!
