I'm aware you can get pop-up backgrounds/backdrops that are around the 1.8m - 2m square size, does anyone know if there are similar things but half the size? I've had a little look around ebay and other places but I'm struggling, I'm thinking that given you can buy those small tent things, this surely isn't a million miles away from that...?
Any help gratefully received!

What about a projector screen?
 
Still bigger than I want, I should have explained before, I'm thinking of something that more like 50cm square (or round) that I can carry round and just plonk behind things rather than be lumbered with something larger.

Make one, get some 22mm plastic pipe, 4 90deg elbows, use a piece of whatever material you want for the centre.

Will be cheap as you like, and be custom made for the job, so whatever size you want?
 
I've considered it - it would be ideal, the thing is given that it is designed as a reflector, will it be too bright and 'reflective' to use as a background?
 
Not sure but some of these 5in1 jobs are designed to have a flash shot through them so it must be less reflective. Does it have to be rigid? You could always just get a bit of white cloth that you can roll up and then clamp it to stuff when required.

or go to any craft store and buy an A1 sheet of mount card for about a quid :)
