Yes
I can't really divulge the details as its very sensitive, I seem to remember there was a atleast one serving police man on here before, would appreciate some advice about camera damage as part of a much more serious case.

It's not fair to ask a forum member (off duty policeman) for that kind of advice. He will probably not be able to answer because a) he's not a legal expert, b) he might prejudice your case with wrong advice. If you have a serious problem take proper legal advice from a solicitor or the CAB.

Oh come on, the guy is just asking for a bit of advice, no different to someone asking a plumber for advice about plumbing, or a brickie a question about bricks

This time however i fear you are asking for a copper when you probably need to speak to a solicitor, or citizens advice - as policemen are neccessarly trained in Law, their job involves different stuff, like understanding how to deal with drunk louts or how to spot a prostitute

for indepth, law based stuff you need to speak to a solicitor, not the police.

It's nothing that will predujice the case as the camera is not actually part of the crime or investigation, really hard to explain.

Well it was more about making negative statements, ie reporting something but saying you don't want anything done about it.

It's a shame they don't train them to catch criminals instead.

Thats certainly how it seems to be around me. Unless criminals count as people who do 43 in a 40 zone. Always police around to catch those.
