Is there a difference?

They have the 8Gb 60Mb/s ones for £40 too.

or the 16Gb 60Mb/s ones for £80

if you select amazon in the list on the right it is only £1 more expensive as the reseller has shipping, and i am always wary of resellers selling cards cheaply in case of replica cards

Ah thanks for that tip :)

Absolutely, all my cards came from Digital Depot other than the dodgy copy Kingston one I bought 3 years ago from Ebay and which failed :(

It's what I've got. Bought from Amazon for £43. Completely worth it

I'm still using 30Mb/s versions for my 8Gb. I have one 45Mb/s 4Gb card but I really can't tell much if any difference.

There is a difference. The new Ultra is UDMA, the older Extreme III is not.

This may or may not make a difference to you depending on whether your camera can fully utilise UDMA and whether or not the card reading device on your PC (USB vs. Firewire vs. ExpressCard) can also take advantage of it.

apart from price and i suppose transfer speed which you need to decide if you really need
ie 5fps facility...
then whatever takes and holds your images without overkill
