Yes, thank you.On my Wimberley 2 the distance from the flat face of the vertical arm to the center of the Arca clamp is about 75mm. Hope this helps.
What are you trying to mount on the bracket? If it is a Flash then I already have a workable design (height adjustable) that can be built for about £15.
I use one, but only when I'm otherwise having a very hard time acquiring/tracking a subject. It's very situational and a bit of "pray and spray," but when nothing else is working well it can help.Quite a while ago I did see a YouTube video of some people using reflex sights with long lenses. Didn't seem to work very well for thrm but these sights are often very cheap so it is worth a try!
