The white balance on all my old pictures is wrong and I wondered if there was any way to correct it on photoshop. I have version3 which is quite old, but since I only use it to crop and resize I don't really know if it can do this.

If I would like to save some of the pictures I can, otherwise I will delete them and save a lot of disk space!

If it is possible, could someone tell me in idiots terms how to do it please.

If they were shot in raw, then it's going to be really easy. If they are jpegs then it's still doable but it is more work. :)

Unfortunately they are all jpeg - does not sound like an easy job :(

The first step to try is to set the colour temp to 6500K (degs Kelvin) and see how it looks then, if it still looks out you can often improve things by running that filter again and then playing with saturation and the red, green and blue sliders.

I wouldn't delete them, some of them will be easy to sort out and some will be a bit more tricky, but as Daz says a lot more difficult than shooting RAW when there's no problem at all.

Stick an example up if you like, but I wouldn't rush to bin them - once they're gone there's no going back. ;)

All the ones in my gallery were taken with that camera, but this one shows it well

A lot will get binned though as even to me they are rubbish!

wasn't so hard after all. It could be better but would the extra time spent be worth the gain........

Thanks a lot, some that I like will get a colour change and a reprieve, but a hell of a lot will not be seen again!

Look out recycle bin
