My uncle just shared this, I found it fascinating. Very interesting how our perceptions influence our interpretation and ultimately the end result.

Perhaps we could do a session like this on the next Megga meet @Cobra

Oops sorry. Only just saw it just now.

Happy if the mods want to lock it.

Is it not still a 'Photographers Perception' that counts? Did they do a good job??

I think they all did a very good job. Although one or two perhaps a little too predictable.

That was good, thanks.

I think they all did a very good job. Although one or two perhaps a little too predictable.

Is there a reason why they should not have been predictable? 'Michael' was an actor playing a part, and in many ways controlling the image they created by the answers he gave to the questions they asked. In many ways he was more in control of the pictures they took by directing their imagination, than were the photographers. Portraiture can be very interactive, as in this case, and so none of them were shooting the same person.

I like being surprised. Perhaps predictable wasn't the word to correctly convey what I meant. Take the example of the former prisoner, it looks like a Phil Mitchell to me. Like he is still some kind of hard man.

But hey each interpretation is just that, there is no right or wrong.
