Is there an app for predicting where in the sky a star or constellation will be in a forward date?

So can plan locations say a month in advance and also moon poSition

Stellarium will be your best bet you can download an app on your phone and pc

I've got live apps for where I am..... But would like to know positions 190 miles away in 5 weeks time..... Is that possible?

Yeap Stellarium will do years ahead

Another vote for Stellarium. Depending on which direction is the 190 miles away the night sky might not change very much in 5 weeks.

The desktop program is actually the 'canonical' version - Stellarium is an open-source project and the desktop program is the result. The app is an independent third-party port to iOS and Android.
