I have just installed this so I can resize images for the web.
Trouble is, it has now become my default viewer on everything I open.
Is there any way I can remove it as the dafault viewer and get the windows viewer back when I look at images.

In Irfanview there should be a file association option (I don't use it ) there you should be able to untick the list, or do as above says.
 
Thanks Russ/Wayne, have now got Windows back as the default viewer!
 
I use Infanview as my default viewer for most things, though I sometimes use VLC for some media... But there is not much that Infanview can't open, including PSD and some raw files.
My last choice is windows, which is rather basic.
 
It integrates well with windows as a viewer, for example you can use the arrow keys to scroll through files in a folder, and set up quick 'open with external editor' e.g. photoshop on shift+1

I have used it for years, but I had never found the quick editor opening...
so I have set it up....THANKS.:)
