Thanks all. Much appreciated. Maybe I'll make it to Dubai next year (prize for the winner was a trip for 2 to the Dubai 7s).

As it happens, I have two signed prints of that Chris Ashton shot, signed by the man himself. One is going into a charity raffle and I'll be keeping the other :D.

When you say "the man himself" is that you or Chris Ashton?
 
Ha ha - I didn't sign it. I think I need to be a bit more famous before I go around signing my own pictures. See pic above.

Congrats, some great photos get entered into this and that one def deserves a place!

Did you get an email telling you or have you brought the book? I keep popping into book shops to have a look at the short listed pics but haven't found it in anywhere yet! I loved looking at the last few years ones.
 
Rugby World mag has 15 top shots selected. The IRB yearbook has just 6 plus the winner. Mine is in the mag but not the book. The book is mainly squads and game results, with the pics in a few pages in the middle.
 
Alwats liked that image mate, well done, mind you he wouldnt be half the player he is if he didn't have a solid grounding in the other code.
