ipod nano new model ?

Am getting a new nano 16gb to replace my old 4gb which still works but can't fit all.my music on it
I've been told that a new model is due out anytime soon but can't find any information about it
Do people think that Apple will update the nano or not bother as they don't actually sell that many anymore
Yes I know the concept of the ipod is outdated but want something small and very convenient and easy to use and have decided to get one but can't decide whether to get it now or wait and see if they are bringing out a new model
The battery on the nano lasts ages too
Anyway I went into Currys to have a look at the nano and the sales lady said to wait a few weeks as the new model is due out

I've not heard or seen anything to suggest they are bringing a new one out sine July this year, when it was rumoured they would be...

I would, to be on safe side, wait for a couple of weeks to see if anything is released under the radar - I think it was October 12 when the latest one was released, but if you get to end of October and there isn't anything out, I suspect nothing will be coming for a while...

Thanks Andy that sounds like a good idea I guess that of they do bring out a new one it will be in good time for Christmas so waiting for a few weeks is a good idea
The lady in Currys said that they were low on stocks which normally means that they are bringing out a new model soon

They updated them with new colours only a couple of month ago. It's unlikely there will be anything more new for another year.
