LMAO! Yeah I can understand that, but with time you learn how to do it single handed

FNAR FNAR!
In all honesty I never thought I'd find a device that wasn't a compromise. I've had LOADS of so called "smart phones" in the past all with the intention of doing away with a PDA. NONE of them managed it.
It was either a case of:
- Can I really be arsed to carry 2 devices?
- Can I even read the information on such a small screen?
- Why does it take SO long to navigate the device?
- And people think Windows is a slow OS to react to input!
I've tried pretty much ALL of the current crop of smartphone technologies and the only one that really stands out for me is the iPhone. Add the new features of the 3G version and It's game over for me.
In fact, I've even found I can do away with my laptop in some instances.
[edit] Just as an example of how cool and useful the iphone is: I was visiting family recently in Bolton and we all decided, spur of the moment, to eat out. Someone had been recommended a local Italian restaurant but could only remember the location not the name. Out comes the iphone, google maps, Search "Italian restaurant", is this the place? "Yes" is the reply. 2 more clicks and I'm on the phone to the restaurant to see if they have a table. Total time to booking? 30 seconds![/edit]
