Iphone problems

I backed up my Phone 7 and then took it to the iPhone shop to have a new screen fitted as I dropped the phone and broke it.

I am now trying to use the wife's iPhone 6 plus, so I wiped all info from her phone and then tried to restore the phone using my iPhone 7 settings through iTunes.

Now the problem I have is it is asking for a verification code that has been sent it my other iPhone i.e the one that is now in the shop. it will not let me do anything in settings now till I have inputted this verification code as i thought I would just set it up as a new phone.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can reset the phone without having to put in the verification code that i cannot get??

Have you tried using the iCloud back up rather than use iTunes?

You might also get more response by asking a mod to move it to the right forum.
