previously posted this question in the Equipment forum but no replies so I hope no-one minds me reposting here. have asked a similar question on Adobe and Apple forums but to date, no-one has been able to give a possible solution/reason.
I have recently purchased (new) an IPad pro 12.9 v2 and only just starting to use it. Have downloaded LR CC for the IPAD from the app store.
Although I would not normally bother to use the Ipad camera, just thought I'd see if the camera app within CC was as good as people seem to think. And this is where my issue (is it an issue??) begins.
In the standard Ipad (IOS) camera module, I see what I expect to see, i.e. an image on the screen, I can tap to focus, then take a shot. When composing/taking the shot, the image on the screen is rock steady (unless I wave the IPAD around!!!).
But, when i access the camera module within LRCC, the image on the Ipad screen can best be described as jittery - in other words it seems to "jump" up/down about 5mm or so. this movement is continuous and doesn’t stop, even when I tap to focus or take a shot. it’s Almost as though something is going on with the module trying to focus - if we relate it to a DSLR/Mirrorless situation, almost akin to lens IS before half press of the shutter..
I don't see how it can be an Ipad hardware fault as the (Apple/IOS) camera image on the screen is rock steady (same as on my old IPAD 9.7").
If it's a software issue, then I'm not too bothered as I probably won't use the module too much anyway.
I have done the usual of uninstalling and reinstalling LR CC on the IPAD. At the moment, I dont have a paid subscription but I can't think this is the issue.
Any help much appreciated.
