Ipad/iPhone external battery

I'm after an external battery for my iPad and iPhone. I've been researching for a few days but there are hundreds and I'm not getting anywhere.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I picked up a battery from Ikea of all places and that's been very good so far.

You probably can't go wrong with most of them as long as you buy from somewhere reputable. I'd just suggest checking reviews and also ensure you get one that has enough battery to recharge an ipad not just a phone

You may want to look for those battery packs with additional functions. I have several; one is also a WiFi SD card reader, two more are hand-warmers, one is a torch.

I use plain simple Duracell chargers, obtainable everywhere and always good for recharging in the field. Take no space and doesn't matter how much Apple or other telephone manufacturers alter the shape, these will always do and are easy to carry in the pocket.
