Ipad help

Morning

Just got my new iPad 3 but having problems tethering it to my iPhone 4

Keep getting incorrect password even though I have changed it to one that's impossible to get wrong (I will change it once I work it out)

Any thoughts as I can't see any reported problems having searched google

I am with Vodafone and have checked that I have the option on my tariff

Don't know about Vodaphone ( I have o2) but I assume you are trying to tether using the personal hotspot on your iPhone?
When your personal hotspot is set up ( mine is using wifi) and you turn it on, it shows you the password to use. Select the iPhone hotspot on your iPad and enter the password. You should now be connected. Don't forget to turn the hotspot off on your iPhone when you have finished.

Allan has pretty much said it all, are you trying to tether via wifi, or bluetooth?

I think there is a "renew lease" option in the wifi section that may clear wrong passwords.
