iPad from US?

I have the opportunity to have an iPad bought back from the US this month. 32GB Wifi is about £400 at current exchange rates.

I've researched a bit on importing them but all I found related to importing an iPad pre-UK release. They seemed to mention needing a US shipping address to buy an iPad from an Apple store. Is this still the case, or have restrictions lifted now the UK models have been released?

Also, are there any warranty issues I need to know about?

Is the £400 including sales tax from whichever state it's coming from? Easy thing to miss, I looked into getting one recently whilst I was in was in San Francisco but it didn't work out to be that much of a saving in the end.

Also check with whoever is bringing it back with you that they won't pass on the customs charge...it's unusual but it could happen.
