Help! IP Address Banned

Hi,

I'm getting the "IP Address Banned" message whenever I view a site page. The VPN IP address is UK based, OS is Sequoia 15.2 and the VPN is Proton VPN. Previously I could rectify the issue by logging out, disconnecting the VPN, logging back onto the site and then reconnect the VPN ... this no longer works.

Any ideas

Proton VPN has a random setting which connects to 1 of 722 UK servers, and I don't know which it connects to. All other sites etc work ok but this has always been an issue.
 
Hi ... it's doing it again ... no changes my end ... my ip address is banned again
 
Could you try from your VPN, then come back and poke me so I can check the logs again?
 
Hi Tori ... tried to log from VPN with no success. Also there is no notifications of a conversation.
 
I only use Windscribe VPN on one of my Macs, not on my every day Mac as I'm using now. If I try to access the forum from my Mac running the VPN I immediately get a banned IP error. Then I simply quit the VPN or switch to the other MBP that doesn't run the VPN. Most times I'm used to dealing with it and it rarely inconveniences me unless I was accessing my banks.

Your VPN allocates you an internet facing IP address that a spammer/scammer has previously used to attack the site.
We ban the address because they sign up again straight away if we just ban the account.
