IOS7 notifications driving me mad!!!

Recently updates to ios7 but now keeping getting notification sounds but can't see anything! Have turned off all notifications in notification centre but yet the noises still come! Please help...it's driving me bonkers!!!

I updated to iOS 7 on both my phone and ipad mini. Not had this problem - have you checked all the usual suspects? alarms, email/message/facebook notifications, see if the sounds have changed on them? I have my phone on silent 99% of the time so rarely hear anything from it. Bar when I want to, then just flick the switch off of mute.
 
Teach you to have an Iphone :D
 
Weirdness, my iphone and ipad both updated fine. I had one small niggle on the iphone with the music controls not working in control centre, but a couple of power off's sorted that.

Have you looked through all the settings for notification centre?
 
Things don't have to be. In the notification centre to notify you, might be another app.
 
Thanks folks. Dale, you were spot on, another app was causing the 'madness' for me! Sorted now.
 
I got caught by that a few months ago. :)
 
My imessage isnt working atall. Lol
 
iMessage is having problems around the world currently.

It works to some people but others i can receive there iMessages but my replies will only send as a txt! Driving me bonkers :-(
 
My imessage has been ok apart from yesterday where it tried sending something again I'd sent hours earlier that had been received then it said failed later on!

Other people have said it has been sending random texts from weeks ago to people too.

The send as sms option also gets switched off in the update.
