Yes
I am after having some prints done. They need to be the best quality I can manage.
I don't really want to get into printing my own, although I am going to mount them myself.

So basically I need a high quality place that will print the images for me.

Thanks :)

Pre corrected, auto corrected?? 4 different downloadable formats to choose from? Blimey, I don't know what any of this means! I dont want my image corrected at all! :'(

DSCL are excellent. Pre corrected means that they will print exactly as you send them, so if they are massively over or under exposed for example, thats how they will come out. Auto correct means they will correct pics if they think they need to, so select pre corrected (pro only).

I generally use DS Colour Labs as they are extremely reliable. I do find, however, that you need to lighten the print by about 10-15% before sending. If you send before 2.00pm they do next day delivery as well and although the postage costs are a little high compared to some, the print quality is excellent.

I use DSCL and have done for years. Ask them for a profile and make sure your monitor is calibrated and send pre-corrected.

I only use them for larger items now as mostly I print on my dye subs. The DNP will print gloss or matt and the DS80 upto 12x8. Colours are fantastic media costs are on par with the labs so save on P&P unless its a very large order.

and although the postage costs are a little high compared to some, the print quality is excellent.

 for DSCL
although postage may be a bit higher, the packaging I got on my last order with DSCL was worth it. I think it is unlikely for their items to get damaged in the post

Thanks, I think they'll be my first choice seeing as alot have recommended them :)

Tori, I use DSCL almost exclusively for anything up to A4 size on standard lustre or gloss photopaper i.e. standard photo's. Always choose pre-corrected, as has been advised already.
