Hi All,
This is my introduction thread, hope to learn a lot from this forum. Anyway, I bought a Sony A200 about a month ago and works like a charm. However, I recently purchased a Tamron AF28 - 200 Super Zoom and got some questions.
1) While the auto focus function works great, operation with the flash is really strange. Not that I'd use much with the flash anyway, I bought it mostly for the zoom, but I don't understand why when the zoom is pulled in to 28 or so the flash AE function dosen't appear to work in Auto mode, While the standard Sony lens the A200 is shipped with works fine in all zoom modes under flash. Is it just because it's not a Sony lens? While I don't expect the flash to fully illuminate at 200 MM zoom I'd like to understand why it dosn't work Pulled in at 28? Manual mode works, and "A" mode works.
Any insite into this ?
