Interesting stand-off!

Both the squirrel and the sparrowhawk know that the latter hasn't a hope in hell of getting its 'prey' from that position. That's why they are both relatively 'chiiled' - albeit that they're both on full alert.
 
Whilst not quite the same, we have seen pigeons land on the platform whilst the Peregrine Falcon was sat on it's eggs!
