The vegetarian subspecies has the opposite arrangement in terms of leg length so it grazes in the opposite direction on the mountainsides. The 2 subspecies have been known to interbreed using carefully selected boulders or by standing with their longer legs in narrow ditches to create an artificial equilibrium.

Have I put too much thought into this?

Mine went down a treat last night:)

So did mine - assuming you're talking about Haggis wi' bashed neeps'n'tatties. Even treated myself to a glass of whisky, even if it was only Teachers. Having the leftovers for tea tonight.

I wouldn't class Teachers as whisky, can't stand the stuff,

Leftover haggis or leftover Teacher's? ;)

I read another interesting article that found farmed Norwegian stappit haggs have a much larger fank size than their Scottish cousins.

This was found to be due to the young pre pubescent female haggs being exposed to old episodes of 'Reeves and Mortimer' from a very early age, as soon as their eyes opened in fact.

Many years ago during my time at sea I was told by numerous Scottish marine engineers that it is obtained by draining the fuel tanks of parked aircraft at Edinburgh airport. :puke:
