Interesting new camera from Leica

I'm one of those who think that Leitz hit their zenith with the M3 and then slid gradually downhill.

The M2 seemed cheapened by comparison and I really didn't like the M4... ...then they went into a decline!

Just a rebadged Xiaomi 17 Ultra tbh, Leica up to their usual tricks
No, it's a different phone that Leica have customised with their own firmware and imaging that makes it much better than the original phone. Or I'm sure people will claim  :$

As blatant as the branding deals are they seem to be surprisingly successful I remember years ago I was amused on a deal discussing a very cheap budget Panasonic compact camera around £100 which people were recommending because it had a 'Leica' lens. Just the other day when discussing whether the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone was still worth buying now and someone replied highlighting that the 'Hasselblad' lens was very high quality and comparable to FF lenses...it's a small mostly plastic lens that suffers from having to be very compact to fit the 1in sensor into a small gimbal. The number of times I've seen it praised because it's 'Hasselblad' though shows how effective the branding is.
