Yesterday, I was reading a book by Hicks and Schultz; and found the following info

Quote

If you are going to measure [exposure of] a limited area you need to apply colour correction factor. The only manufacturer to provide this data is Pentax, who recommend the following

Red: Give +2/3 stop
Orange : Give + 1 to 1.3 stop
Yellow : Give +1.7 stop
Green : None
Blue : Give -0.7 stop
Indigo &Purple : Give - 1 to 1.3 stop

... or get a Hexar AF and it automatically compensates for colour balance depending on temperature and distance. Apparently :D
