Interesting article about how for wildlife conservation to work you have to involve the local people
In this case Maasai farmers who do want to live alongside wildlife even if it risks their own cattle
Compensation schemes like the Kenyan government have will help the Maasai to do this

I recall seeing that location when I went over 20 years ago, and wondering how long it could survive the encroachment of the city. I'm glad it's still there and hats off to the local Masai for their long-sightedness. More power to them.
