Intel Barebones Systems

No ethernet on the TB one...

Not sure what Intel graphics is like for video acceleration with xbmc these days....

yeah the lack of GB on that TB model is the only downside.. i imagine theyll need something like retina macbooks.

just thought that TB in a box at that price point was pretty good.

Yup. In looking at Haswell, a few of the Z87 mobos will have it on too. Going to take a couple of years to become mainstream, but it's starting....
 
Ah yes, the computer that comes in a musical box but minus the power cord! Not sure I understand their logic there! Not something I'd go for myself, but I can see why it might be attractive to some people.
 
I'm looking at one of these to run my FRN gateway, it would be the one that has an ethernet port, not too fussed abot graphics performance as it will be 'headless'

bit naughty not including ethernet of the TB box.

Yeah.. I'm assuming the tb circuitry took up too much space for both onboard.. Breakout box is an option although defeats the object of its size
