Just after some recommended insurance for the kit?? Can someone point me in the right direction

I was with Photoguard until recently, then I switched household insurance and now all my kit is insured for anywhere in the world within that policy. If you go with a 'speicialist' photographic insurance scheme, just make sure you read the small print to make sure it offers all you need it to.

I use my house insurance and just have to name single items over £1700, cover in or outdoors old for new.
