Insurance on grey imports

I've had a claim accepted with ins company but they need need receipts. As I bought from panamoz am not sure if they accept grey imports. Don't see why not as I still paid over £3k for wat was stole

Shouldn't matter where it is bought from, they just want to know the value and that the camera was purchased in your name therefore legitimately being claimed for.

I bought my body second hand from ebay (Canon 20D) was stolen on a Saturday night and a 60D courtesy of the insurance company was sat on my Kitchen worktop on Wednesday morning. Old for new policy.

As has been said, it shouldn't make any difference whatsoever. The only think I can think of is that if you bought it 'grey' they may ask you to replace it the same way so the insurer gets the same saving. They may, however, have a preferred UK supplier and may just be asking for receipts as proof you had it.
