I believe you can get an instant JPG from RAW by asking your camera to do it or you

I have had it on my pc for some time but never used it in anger but I can see that it would be useful in some situations.

why dont you just use photoshop? if you open up bridge (yes i know its more software thats not free) and then you can batch convert them into tiffs, or jpegs or whatever u want to!
