Colour profiles.. as in .icc profiles?
On a windows machine, just right click the profile file, and select "install profile". You don't have to install them into Photoshop... they're system files on your PC. Once installed, Photoshop will just use what's there.
If you want to manually place the file, then put it in c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color
