Can anyone tell me how to do this please??

Ive downloaded the print profile for DSCL to my desktop and right click to install it but them how do i make sure the photos im editing in lightroom 3 have this profile?????:thinking::thinking:

Thanks

Open LR, find your photo, click export and this brings up the export dialogue

scroll down the box till you reach file settings and in there is a colourspace box, click to reveal options. If the profile is not listed then click other and then you should get a list of profiles loaded in the icc profiles folder.

If the DSCL one is not there you may have to restart LR and make sure you loaded the profile. (although this should be automatic)

Jellycat, what happens when you export using their profile?

When I tried it, the exported image's thumbnail looked to have strange colours when viewed in Windows, but when opened it looked identical to the original which I thought a bit odd.

I think that's normal - when viewing the thumbnail, the photo's profile isn't taken into account so it's showing that photo with an srgb profile. When opened up with an app, the photo profile is read so it's "corrected" back to the srgb colour space when viewed on screen.
I get the same behaviour.
