Hiya I really want to get out there and start to take Photos...

I seem to have no Inspiration...

I have a 2 Acre garden full of trees, Pond, little woody area at the back... i have taken as many pictures as i can. (trees pond, foxes, other wildlife)

Im restricted where i can go, i dont drive and have Hip Problems (Im 20 not 80 lol)

what can i do???
where can i go.

I want to go out and take photos of People doing random things, but worried incase they come over and Shout and/or break my camera or i get in trouble for doing it....

any suggestions??

the first thing you need to do is work out where you can go within the restrictions of your mobility. If you don't drive then public transport will be your carriage, so pressumably local town centres will be a good a starting point. If shooting people worry you, then maybe start by looking at the architecture, both the wider picture and maybe some abstract detail. Another option to get further afield might be trains, or coach trips to places like zoos, the seaside, and so on.

Sorry, its quite difficult to suggest specifics with not knowinf where you are based, so these are generla ideas. I know that several people on here have mobility issues but still manage to do some great stuff, so dont let it put you off.

Another thing, you sayyou have a large garden with a mix of terrain. Do you have a hide of somesort for studying larger wildlife in more detail? Birds and the like?

Have you thought of macro, some extension tubes and a 50mm f/1.8 and you're sorted for around £100, a bit more if you want a 1/1 macro lens such as the sigma 105mm f/2.8

what equipment do you have already :)

I think a good start would be to set up a couple of feeding stations for the wildlife, and area for the birds close to somewhere where you can watch in comfort within your lens focal range, and a feeding station for the squirrels and the like if you have any in the garden.

You could also look at the possibility of setting up a home studio for macro photography and the like.

Nigel

im still new to Photography, Got a 18-55mm and a 75-300mm.... from one extreme to the next...
what is a Miro Used for????
not good with all the different Lenses at the moment.

Do some still life. Look round the house, root about in the shed an long-forgotten cupboards and see if you can find anything interesting to arrange and then photograph.
