Can anyone help me with tips for project planning?

Im doing an evening intermediate course and have 2 weeks to do my project. Im panicking and not being half as productive as usual, im overthinking the theme then flapping because my ideas are hard to make happen.

My other half has said to write every single thought and idea down on paper all together in one place so im going to brainstorm later on, but does anyone have any tips?

Thanks in advance

Start taking pictures of something, anything, it sounds like you're suffering from paralysis by analysis. By starting, ideas are likely to crystallise, and you might have a better dea of what's achieveable, and what you want to go ahead and explore more. By all means plan, but it's the execution that counts.

I'm in the same boat on my HND - loads of ideas but when I lift a pen to note or describe what I'm thinking - the thinking stops!!!

I did a City and Guilds level 3 a few years ago, and I did most of my planning retrospectively! I knew what I wanted to shoot for my projects, and as I have limited time, I just went out and shot, then put together the necessary pages of evidence and planning after to fit with what I shot. If it's an evening class and you've only got limited time such at weekends to go out and shoot, especially outside, then you've got to maximise your use of time. I ended up doing all the writing and research in the evenings during the week when it was dark and I couldn't get out.

It may not work for everyone, but it worked for me!
