hi all
so newish to photography, im on full frame with Nikon d700 which im more than happy with
its landscapes with me at the moment , and the lens I have is the 24 - 85, which was bought with the camera second hand
im finding im shooting at the lower end more , and id like to upgrade to cover up to the 24
ill be buying second hand again , but I go prime or lower end zoom
I read reviews and someone love a particular lens , someone hates particular lens
all things are relative I suppose
budget around £500-600
tamron 16-30?
Nikon 17-35?
all input appreciated

I've seem the nikon 16-35 F4 VR sell for £600 in the classifieds, fantastic lens and takes standard 77mm filters

I have had most lenses in this FL range and without a doubt would go for the Nikon 16-35 f4 VR in your shoes. It is a solid performing lens without the bulbous front element of some of the UWAs. If you get a good used copy you cannot go wrong !
 
the nikon 17-35mm 2.8 is a cracking lens for landscape and is solid metal not like the plastic lens's that came after it
its also very sharp
