Hi all, thanks for popping by...

I have a copyright stamp and pad that I put on back of photographs. Recently run out of ink (which has lasted me years as I bought bulk). Now try to purchase some with great difficulty. All I seem to find is "paper" ink not suitable for backs of photographs as it dosent really dry and smudges.

Any ideas regarding supplier????

Thanks

Tim

You need a spirit based ink. I used one years ago ( and I do mean years ) that was supplied by a company called PV Stamp O Mat. tried Google but no sign of them. However I did come across a company that may be able to supply similar ink.

They are Onink here;s the link, they may be able to help

Surely in this digital age you would better incorporating a copyright into the printed image?

How would you do this? I imagine the OP is wanting to show a copyright on the reverse of the printed image as he doesn't want to show one on the actual image. I would be very interested to see how you could embed it into the image without it being seen!

thought of a label with a semi permenant adhesive?

After a quick search I found POLYMET ink. This seems to be quick drying and designed for glossy surfaces.

Search for POLYMET INK and you should find a few links
This one was on ebay #390149231613
