Inhuman and Callous Postman

Yes, I saw that. I think sad is not the adjective that sprung to mind.
If it ever happens to him I hope others will show him more kindness.

Does not matter if you are tired or too busy. Things is, you should never be too busy to help someone in such a desperate situation. We have one or two postmen who are not very nice, they spit on the floor and throw their elastic bands and other rubbish on our doorstep. Some can't even be bothered to shut the gate. We do have one lovely man, he always says hello and always has a nice word to say, he always closes the gate after him, and does not litter. I wish there were more like him.

@Fuji Dave

I think you should edit the title to say "callous or inhuman" rather than stupid.

How disgusting to not even tell anyone.

At the very least he should have made an effort to call for help ~ it is not easy to help someone up after a fall without risk of injury to oneself (just ask nurses how their backs are affected by lifting properly let alone incorrectly single handed).....................either a/the neighbour or call 999 for an ambulance!!! Someone who falls and is unable to rise unassisted potentially has been injured.

He needs sanctioning and told to take flowers and a card to the lady to apologise!

I couldn't believe this video when I saw it earlier today. No matter how knackered you might be, you'd at least raise the alarm by knocking on a neighbour's door, or phone for the police to help if everyone in the area was out and you didn't want to come into unwitnessed close contact with a lone female. Unless there's more to this than the video shows, then I really do think Royal Mail need to investigate this incident.

Years ago, we were driving in a 30mph limit, it was blowing a gale. About 50 metres ahead we saw an elderly woman get caught in a gust and she went down hard on the floor. I put the hazards on and stopped and immediately got flashed and beeped at from behind. My wife got out and helped the lady who fortunately didn't seem to be badly hurt. When the car behind managed to pass, he slowed down next to my car and hurled a load of abuse at me.

Did he think she was offering some fun on the floor or what..

Thats the only reason I can think of that “I’m too knackered” would be a valid excuse.

No one is ever too knackered to help someone in need, he is just a vile human being.

Paramedics, firemen and police, doctors, nurses all work stupidly long shifts and would help anyone at the end of it, as much as they would the start.

I’m sure this bloke is already fired, but he needs serious help.
