Information: MXV Uckfield gone

If anyone is planning a trip to MXV in Uckfield (Sussex) then you will be out of luck as they went into receivership and closed last Saturday.

ProTech Repairs who shared the building with them are still working and will be there for a few more days before moving to new premises just outside the town.

So that's why their stock lists have been unavailable for days now. Had a few bits off them over the past 4 or 5 years. A sad loss.

I don't know if Protech will be doing any sales. I think they originally did the sales part before they decided to concentrate on repairs and MXV took over the resale section.

Yeah, especially as some of the secondhand companies providing warrantied top class gear and service were still cheaper than some of the private sellers in the classified ads! :bonk:

Its a real shame, my local camera shop also. Real helpful people and I've had superb service many times.
