I'm in a quandary on what middle zoom lens to get or should i try a middle prime lens ,something in the 28-150 or 18-135 range for a Pentax K100 ,i could do with some pointers ,i take a lot of motorsport (ie..motorcross,cars...) and would also like to get into a bit of landscape stuff ,prob asking a bit much here eh:shrug:...oh... and it doesn't hav to be pentax:thumbs:

I reckon the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO Macro DG would be your best bet for quality and range. There are lots of lenses in your price range but most are dissapointing in the results they give. The one above is very good up to the 200mm mark, after that it gets a bit soft. Price about £155 in the uk.

I already have that lens Steep, Jessops for £100 bit of a bargain i thought:thumbs:
