Importing images using Bridge problem

If I import images from the card using Bridge I have the option to add metadata on import. There is also the option to import the images to a 2nd location (backup drive) at the same time.

The problem,

Bridge imports the images and adds the metadata to the files to the 1st location but imports the images without the metadata to the 2nd location.

What am I doing wrong?

Dunno. I don't use Bridge in that way, but if you buy the mods a jaffa cake, they may move this thread to Post Processing and Image Editing where it may do more good.

I like most import from my cards direct to my chosen folder in my case dated folders where I keep all my raw files on a monthly basis before transferring them to one of my back up drives at the end of each month (they are automatically backed up each day to another drive).

I then use bridge to check the pics and weed out any rejects which I then delete before moving onto processing.
