It was also news about 4 weeks ago so good to see the BBC keeping up with things.

Wow, that means Canon are producing over 30,000 EOS650D's a week as the ones affected are from a 2 week period. If you go on the Canon website you can check your serial number against the affected ones to see if you need to return them. The BBC certainly know how to use headlines, 'skin rash worry' when it MIGHT affect less than 1 person in a 1000 according to some reports on the web.
