I am normally quite chilled, but I am expecting my new camera today. Carpet worn out next to the window. Every car that goes past is the del van (I'm on a main road!) and I'm scared to go to the toilet in case the knock comes when I'm there.

Grrr!
 
Hahah i'm the same, The second I clicked this link I thought of this time last year when I was waiting for my Canon 1D MKII to arrive, Which I'd ordered early morning the day before and was totally surprised when the courier phoned to have the package for me..

All I can say is, try and stay calm when you have to sign for it and try and get it inside the door before opening it(makes keeping track of manuals and stuff much easier) :)
 
I'll try to check it first, thanks. And I'm sitting in the bedroom above the door so my thighs are getting a workout from all the standing up LOL.
 
Well? you got it out the box yet? thrown the instructions in the bin? Come on, hurry up :|

No, but the delivery driver can get quite funny about it, especially if he is running late and wants to get his rounds finished. I've had them rant and moan about not having all day etc.....
 
I usually write in the sgnature box "parcel unchecked" before signing, dunno why they sink you with a look.
 
Signed for unchecked or 'unc ec ced' because of the stupid pad things they use. All seems in good order.

Don't imagine I'll be posting much more this afternoon.....

i know what its like waiting for a parcel i am exactly the same when it comes to something new lol
